OPM (Labels and Packaging Group) has been granted a U.S patent for its successful TLC label, this our fifth patent received to date. Ian Bell, OPM Key Account Director suggested the patent marked a “major milestone” and follows “years of trials and development with materials, suppliers and clients”.
Managing director Chris Ellison said: “We have gained a number of patents in the last six years both for the UK and around the world. Several years ago, we undertook the challenge of providing an innovative re-closure product that both reduced the weight of the packaging and improved moisture content retention, for the products complete life cycle. We are delighted that this journey has concluded with the grant of our U.S patent “.
