Following the first Manufactured Yorkshire event since the merger, Made in Yorkshire have collated a range of responses from exhibitors, members and guests.
There were 70 companies exhibiting their services and capabilities at the event which led to an extensive number of future business enquiries. With over 800 representatives from the manufacturing sector at the event, attendees praised the success of the event.
Made in Yorkshire members, Halcyon Drives exhibited on Stands 11 and 12 at the event, which led Business Development Manager, Laura Coxon to state: ÂWow what a great day we had yesterday! Fantastic show, fantastic team and we met some really great people. Thank you for a great show and to everyone we had the pleasure of meeting we will be in touch soon.Â
One of the newest Made in Yorkshire Silver members, WKW Precision Engineering visited the show and guests. Business Development and Marketing, Brian Kermode added: ÂI was very happy to attend the event. It proved to be beneficial to WKW Precision and justifies being a member. Once again, congratulation on an excellent exhibition and I look forward to being at the next event.Â
Leading foundry and dental supplies company, John Winter exhibited at the show on Stand 38. Sales Director, Adam Bennett explained: ÂThis not being our usual type of event and not knowing what to expect, we had a fantastic response and some very good new leads, but more so we had a great day and look forward to next year.Â
With over 100 years in the electronics manufacturing industry, Contract Production exhibited at the show for the very first time. Business Development Executive, Emma Wrigglesworth said: ÂIt was a great event, and it looks like I've got some fab leads Now the hard work begins!Â
Made in YorkshireÂs membership base has more than doubled since the merger with Manufactured Yorkshire which reflects the regionÂs desire to collaborate and discuss business all year around.
Manufactured Yorkshire attracted guests from across the country, as Jason James from Made in the Midlands Gold members, Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence concluded: ÂManufactured Yorkshire was an engaging day of presentations and networking, one thing I take away from the day was the energy and passion that presents itself in the heartbeat of the country.Â
