During the morning, more than 20 visitors were treated to presentations about Loadhog as well as the other companies who are part of GLIDE which is an employee owned company representing the shareholders working in its partner companies  Gripple, Gripple Automation, Loadhog, PMS Diecasting, GoTools and Laser Scanning. A factory tour of LoadhogÂs 120,000 square foot facility and refreshments were included in the event.
Manufacturing firms across the region, including JB Springs, Portakabin and Montracon Ltd were represented.
Loadhog is an innovative returnable and reusable transit packaging solutions provider, working with the likes of Heineken, Jaguar Land Rover and Ford.
Jason Pitt, CEO of Made in Yorkshire, said: ÂIt was great to utilise LoadhogÂs facilities for our first breakfast networking event in the region. LoadhogÂs philosophies and innovation is fantastic and are a great example for other companies to learn from.
Made in Yorkshire is a peer group of manufacturing and engineering firms in the region, encouraging members to source, supply and collaborate with firms in the region through networking events and a digital platform to showcase the success of Yorkshire manufacturing.
ÂWe have had great success holding breakfast mornings at Made in the Midlands in the last few years, and it is tremendous to replicate this in Yorkshire.Â
