We have been manufacturing plastic injection mould tools since 1981 and still build tools for our first customer. The tools are built to suit a number of factors, the material to be processed, the quantity of components required, the complexity of the component and of course the old favourite Price, these all need considering when the first brief or RFQ arrives on your desk.
Senior & Dickson supply high-quality Plastic Injection Moulding Tools to South Yorkshire, the UK and overseas. We specialise in toolmaking, development and prototype moulding.
Prototype models can be produced to a retail quality or used for functionality testing and ergonomics (with various options in between) and before any tooling is manufactured.
At Senior & Dickson our moulding shop contains 18 injection moulding machines with a range from 30 tonne to 500 tonne clamp force.
These are supported by a number of ‘pick and place’ robots as well as raw material processing equipment (driers, mixers and re-grinding).We have experience in processing the more common polymers – Polypropylene (PP) and Polyethylene (PE) as well as the specialised materials Polyvinylchloride (PVC), Polyetheretherketone (PEEK), Glass filled Nylon (GFPA) and Thermoplastic elastomers (TPE).
